Sole Provider.org My sister, Tara, and Dakota Crow and I developed a business plan, website, logo and much more for Sole Provider, a nonprofit organization in 2010. This exciting opportunity was our reward for participating in Omaha Startup Weekend. The mission of Sole Providers was to provide athletic shoes for children in need. Wendy connected with organizations in the Twin Cities who were looking for shoes for children in need. Sole Provider.org is on hold until Dakota Crow decides to pick it up again.
Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN. Personal experience led us to the front door looking for ways to help and into the arms of a wonderful group of people. We met with the staff, brainstormed a bit and decided that the first project should be to help the teens the summer of 2009.
- Developed the Vü: Viewpoints journal activity project given to each teen
- Designed a series of art, writing, body awareness and movement projects
Über Problem Solvers. Founded a discussion board/group on LinkedIn. We hope you’ll join in the discussion.
Lifetime Fitness Youth Group. Teena Dietz from Intentional Serenity called on Überscüber to help her out one day. We worked with Teen and the youth group on story, movement and discussion activities.
Vibrance of Life Runway. A fundraiser for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society spring 2010.
MS150 Bike Ride 2010. Wendy rode on the Charter Mountain team in June 2010 to raise funds and build awareness for Multiple Sclerosis research.
AIGA MN Veteran Designer Committee. Helping graphic designers in the Minneapolis area who have been in the industry over 15 years. We host networking events and celebrate the legacy of many designers.
AIGA MN Design Show Committee. Recognized the hard work of local graphic designers.
IABC Bronze Quill 2010 and Spring Conference + Gala. Sponsorship chair and official event graphic designer. Fostering the sponsor relationships and communicating the event details.
LinkedMinnesota. Official graphic designer for the largest LinkedIn group in Minnesota. Holiday networking event coordinator of donations and volunteers.
WOLF Means Business. Official member and collaborator for the WOLF website update.
